When I was younger, and less "woke" (as the kids say), I thought yoga was for old ladies. Since finding my mother's basic Vinyasa DVD, I have found that yoga is a beautiful journey into not only strengthening and lengthening the body, but strengthening and lengthening the mind and soul. Some of the practices are high-energy, but some are relaxing and peaceful. It's important to incorporate that balance in our lives.
